Owl Conference 2019 in Bad Blankenburg

From Friday 6th September 2019 to Sunday 8th September 2019, the 35th Owl Conference of the AG Eulen is going to take place in the school Landessportschule in Bad Blankenburg / Thüringen. Please send your registration for attendance to AG Eulen, Klaus Hillerich, Röntgenstraße 7, D-64823 Groß-Umstadt, klaus.hillerich[at]ageulen.de. You can use the form attached and send it via e-mail or post. The fee for the conference is 10,- € that you can transfer to the account of the AG Eulen.

The emphasis of the conference is on

  • Ural Owl projects,
  • Boreal Owl monitoring,
  • the situation of the Pygmy Owl,
  • population dynamic of the Eagle Owl,
  • situation of the owls in the Homilsha Forest National Park in Eastern Ukraine,
  • successes of owl conservation and education in South Africa.

On Sunday morning the following excursion is going to take place:

Capercaillie habitats in the forest Thüringer Wald (Dr. J. Wiesner).
