The Wilderness Area Administration is organized as an association. By order of the Provincial Government of Lower Austria, the Wilderness Area Administration has to make sure that its work in the Wilderness Area complies with the IUCN guidelines and the management plan elaborated in the course of the LIFE project. The Wilderness Area Administration consists of four people. For three of them, this is their regular occupation. One of them works on a voluntary basis. Apart from that, there are three people who are responsible for game regulation.
